Nuc Med/CT Tech*

• Full-Time | 80 hrs/pp | 0630 – 1400 | Varied Shift | Weekends | On-Call

Job Description: The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist performs imaging procedures.

Requirements: Nuc Med/CT Tech. Graduate of JCERT approved program Certified and in good standing with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or ARRT registry eligible and Kansas Board of Healing Arts – Radiologic Technologist (LRT) or eligible. CPR Certified.

Ultrasound Technologist *

• PRN | 8 hrs/pp | 7:00 am – 3:30 pm | Varied Shift | Weekends | On-Call

Job Description: The US (Ultrasound) Technologist performs US procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply ultra-sonic sound waves to achieve diagnostically adequate US examinations. Also acts as the patients advocate while promoting teamwork with physicians and other personnel. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or is a logical assignment to the position.

Requirements: Graduate of JCERT approved program and/or Ultrasound accredited program. Certified in Vascular Sonography by the ARDMS.

Ultrasound Technologist *

• Part-Time | 48 hrs/pp | 8:00 am – 4:30 pm | Varied Shift | Weekends | On-Call

LABORATORY

Laboratory Manager *

• Full-Time | 80 hrs/pp | Varied Shift | Weekends | On-Call

Job Description:  Assist the Laboratory Manager in initiating, planning, and establishing policies and procedures for the Laboratory Department. Assists the Lab Manager in maintaining and updating standards, policies and procedures set forth by JCAHO and the College of American Pathologists.

Requirements: MT/MLT with 5 or more years of hospital laboratory experience required. Bachelor degree or equivalent encouraged. Certification, MT, (ASCP), or MLT, (ASCP), CLS, MCA or AMT required.  Minimum of five (5) years of hospital laboratory experience with supervisory experience preferred.

MT/MLT *

Job Description: Duties and responsibilities of the Medical Technologist (MT) Supervisor include but are not limited to performing various chemical, microscopic, microbiologic, and immunological tests pertaining to patient care and diagnosis. 

Requirements: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university and successful completion of a CAHEA accredited Medical Technology Program.  ASCP Registry or equivalent. ASCP, AMT, AAR.

Lab Assistant

• Full-Time | 80 hrs/pp | Varied Shift | Plus Weekends

Job Description: The primary purpose of this position is to perform clerical support in an accurate and efficient manner in accordance with established procedures. 4-6 years of general secretary experience.

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to withstand stressful situations both physically and emotionally will be required.

Phlebotomist

• Full-Time | 80 hrs/pp | Nights | Plus Weekends

Job Description: The duties and responsibilities of the phlebotomist include, but not limited to the assessing and reassessing of patients prior to and following the collection of blood and body fluid. Collection practices and techniques are directed by established departmental policies and procedures. SLEEP LAB CLINIC

Polysomnographer/Sleep Tech

• Full-Time | 72 hrs/pp | 7:00 pm – 7:00 am

Job Description: The primary purpose of your job position is to assess, perform, and evaluation of modalities of Respiratory Therapist in patient care. This is to be done in accordance with the overall philosophy of SWMC to assure that objectives of quality patient care, advancement of knowledge, and contribution to the community welfare are achieved effectively and efficiently.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Successful completion of a polysomnography program, of no less than one year duration, associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility OR a minimum of 6 months of experience as a polysomnographic trainee with documented proficiency in all required competencies OR successful completion of a polysomnography intensive training course with an associate’s degree in respiratory care (CRT credential minimum) OR (CPSGT credential minimum). No licensing for polysomnography unless licensed in the state of Kansas with the State Board of Healing Arts or current reciprocal for CRT or RRT. Must posses a strong understanding of all areas of Polysomnography with 6 months of polysomnographic experience preferred.

RESPIRATORY THERAPY

Registered Respiratory Therapist

• Full-Time | 72 hrs/pp | On-Call | Plus Weekends

Job Description: The primary purpose of your job position is to assess, perform, and evaluation of modalities of Respiratory Therapist in patient care. 

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program. Current RRT Licensure through the National Board of Respiratory Care. CPR required date of hire. PALS and ACLS and NRP are required after 6 months.

Echocardiographer*

• Full-Time | 80 hrs/pp | On-Call | Plus Weekends

Job Description: The primary purpose of your job position is to assess, perform, and evaluation of modalities of Respiratory Therapist in patient care. This is to be done in accordance with the overall philosophy of SWMC to assure that objectives of quality patient care, advancement of knowledge, and contribution to the community welfare are achieved effectively and efficiently.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program or educational program recognized by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS). Registered with The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) in Adult Echocardiography (AE) required. In addition, Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) preferred. CPR required.  PALS and ACLS optional, but preferred.
