Welcome to the Southwest Medical Center Medical Explorer’s page.
Medical Explorers is a program to guide high school students through an understanding of the health care industry and what it is like to work in a health care related field. Students will learn about a variety of different medical professions which will allow them to plan for their future education.
The program has three main segments:
- Learn more about health care careers
- Understand the education needed for a career in health care
- Tour of each department of the hospital
Our Medical Explorer program takes place once each year. The next program will take place:
- Saturday, April 2, 2016
- 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Southwest Medical Center
- Conference Room 2
You will need to review the three documents below and return the application by Monday, March 21, 2016. Please remember that each student must have had a flu shot/mist to participate in the program.
