LIBERAL, KS – Rick Fitzgerald, M.D., Internal Medicine physician passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020. He was 66.
Dr. Fitzgerald was a highly respected member of the medical community. He went to medical school at Bicol Christian College of Medicine – Legazpi City, Philippines, & did his residency at University of Oklahoma School of Medicine – Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“Dr. Fitzgerald’s legacy as an excellent internal medicine physician will be remembered by many in our community,” Southwest Medical Center President and CEO, Robert Whitaker said. “Dr. Fitzgerald provided excellent care to his patients, and was an influential member of our medical team. He took the time to connect with his patients, building relationships with them & their families.”
Dr. Rick Fitzgerald loved collecting antique cars, playing and collecting guitars, and most of all, his wife Tess.
