Infusion Therapy RN
• Part-Time
Job Description: Specialty focused on the care of patients receiving intravenous (IV) therapy, or medications and fluids via injection. Infusion nurses ensure patients receive the correct IV for the treatment ordered, select and manage the appropriate device, and monitor and evaluate the patient’s response to the IV therapy. They monitor patients, manage their tubing, maintain arterial catheters, and observe for potential drug complications.
Requirements: Kansas RN required. ACLS & BLS required. Strong IV background preferred.
INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
RN *

Job Description: Duties include overseeing the care provided by certified nurse aids, providing direct patient care, collecting patient data, reinforcing patient teaching, assisting with discharges, and interacting with all healthcare team members.
Requirements: Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Kansas or holding a Kansas temporary LPN license. Basic Life Support certification is required.

Sterile Processing Technician

Job Description: Preventing infections from patient to patient utilizing the aseptic technique. Responsible for following established hospital procedures in cleaning, assembling, sterilizing, and storing medical supplies and equipment. Assures that all instrumentation is in good working order before and after processing.
Requirements: Prior on-the-job experience as a Sterile Technician preferred. High school diploma or equivalent.
OR Scheduler

Job Description: The OR Scheduler works within the Surgical Services Department as part of the Nursing Staff by performing clerical (specifically, patient scheduling), receptionist, data entry, and patient care duties as a Certified Nursing Aide for the unit which includes call coverage for PACU. The OR Scheduler also works closely with the OR Materials Coordinator in the accurate acquisition and tracking of supplies for Surgical Services.
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant course.
