Candidates must possess strong communication skills; RHIA, RHIT or CCS certification; and a minimum of five (5) years coding experience for inpatients and outpatients in an acute care hospital setting. Required is a Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology of Communication Disorders. Current Kansas License with two years hospital experience required.

B.S. degree from an approved school of Occupational Therapy. Current Kansas license required. Hospital experience preferred. New graduates accepted.

High School Diploma or equivalent required. CMT preferred. Terminology mandatory. Anatomy and Physiology preferred. Five years transcription experience necessary. Production as assigned by supervisor and/or in association with training of entry level incumbents. Must have in-depth or broad knowledge of insurance verification., ABN's pre-certification process, etc. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, including the English language, grammar, punctuation and style. Knowledge of diverse accents and dialects and varying dictation styles preferred. Must have expert knowledge of designated word-processing, dictation, and transcription equipment, etc., and trouble shoot equipment as specified.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Must have a current Kansas nursing RN license. At least five (5) years nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred, but not required. Must be able to function independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to coordinate activities related to the services of patients to SWMC. Must be able to function creatively in developing new and innovative ideas in all admitting areas and in utilization management. Must have communication skills necessary to provide appropriate information to the age of the patient served.
