Because the clinic is located at Southwest Medical Center, the Medical Center’s resources are available to the clinic physicians and staff to ensure that each patient’s needs are met.

Primary care close to home is always a priority. Knowing that the doctor is nearby and has the full backup of a total medical facility should the need arise is one crucial part of the many advantages of living in Southwest Kansas. It is a goal of Southwest Medical Center and the Visiting Physicians Clinic to provide “at home” care in the small and rural community while providing an advanced level of medical center care whenever needed.

Services:

• The Cancer Center of Kansas provides chemotherapy treatment for cancer patients.
• Our cardiology physicians visit new and follow-up patients. In addition, Dr. Evans performs pacemaker surgeries.
• Hematology physicians see those patients suffering from blood disorders.
• Endocrine – Diabetic patients are seen to check blood sugar, etc. They may also take part in diabetic clinics, which take place four times a year.
